If you search google for Boolie, you'll find mostly references to American sites - it seems to be a man's name in the states, most notably Miss Daisy's son in "Driving Miss Daisy". There's also a brand of wool socks in Oz called "Boolie".

This Boolie is neither of those but a little stone gargoyle on a tombstone. I bought him sometime back in the 1980's in a shop along the old city walls in York and he's been hanging around the place ever since.

Why name this part of the site after a gargoyle ? Why not ? There's not too many decent internet domain names going spare out there and this one was!

I chose him partly because I think his epitath is quite fun...
